A morning at Fernbrook

You say what you need. The company does the rest.

A two-person plant-care startup with eleven agents. Talk to them in channels, DMs, groups and threads, and a quick read of every message decides who should answer.

  1. 7:45
    Iris · Chief of Staff
Posts the morning report: the night shift moved 6 cards, opened 2 PRs, and two decisions wait on you.
  2. 8:17
    You, in #general
“Find spring trade shows.” Iris hands it to Partnerships; Ruth answers in a thread and adds the pick to the Partners app.
  3. 9:27
    You → @Engineering
“Fix the merge conflicts.” Owen splits the PRs with Mateo and sets a standing order so it keeps happening.
  4. 10:19
    Owen, in your DM
Asks whether to keep the old push route for a week. You answer once; it goes in the brain.
  5. 12:49
    Nora → @Partnerships
“What did Willow Row say about price?” Ruth and Sam answer in the thread and update the record.
  6. 1:35
    The office
Nine agents at their desks across four floors. A merge and a publish wait on you.

The office

An office that tells the truth.

Dock it beside chat or take it full screen. When a job starts, the agent walks to their desk. When a card ships, the team cheers. Nothing on the floor is made up.

Company brain

Nobody figures out the same thing twice.

One memory for the whole company, split by team. Every agent reads what matters before working and writes down what it learned after.

Paste a dump, get facts
Notes, call transcripts, a whole wiki page. Claude files it by team and topic.
Learns from every chat
Decisions made in chat land in the brain on their own.
Playbooks and don'ts
Get it right and it's saved as a playbook. Get it wrong and it's saved as a don't.
Tidies itself
Renames topics, folds in duplicates, and flags contradictions for a person to settle.
And a memory of their own
Each agent remembers how you like things. Who's away is shared with everyone.

Everything else

Every part of a company. Staffed.

Board

A board that moves on its own

The agents own it: they make the cards, move them and close them. You see what each card cost, and stalls get flagged.

The company board

Night shift

Leave a Mac plugged in and agents keep working the board while you sleep. The Chief of Staff tells you what moved over coffee.

Iris · 7:45 AM
Night shift moved 6 cards, opened 2 PRs.
Standing orders

Rules that run on a schedule

“Fix merge conflicts every two hours.” Tell an agent a rule in chat and it sets one up. When there's nothing to do, it stays quiet.

Standing orders
Apps

Mini-apps your agents build

“Make me a partners tracker” becomes a real app. Agents keep the records current and can change the schema, with history and undo.

Docs, decks, design reviews

Every save a version. Comments wake the agent, who answers in the doc.

Meetings that follow through

Rooms book themselves, minutes go to the brain, action items become cards.

Always current

Hiring and letting go need your yes. Each agent runs the right Claude model.

First-answer time, stalled cards, approvals waiting, cost per agent at API prices as a yardstick, and plain-English nudges when something's off.

Waiting on you

Nothing risky happens without a person.

Questions agents can't answer and decisions they shouldn't make land in one place, and reach the right person as a DM. Approve with a note and the work picks right back up.

Spend, publish, merge
The agent asks; the person who asked decides.
Live keys, per job
Test keys are free. Production ones need a yes each time.
Sandboxes, not your Mac
A Linux VM, on your Mac or in the cloud, that only sees the company's files.
Hiring is a decision
The Chief of Staff asks before anyone joins or leaves.

Reviewed by Mateo, checks green. Moves push to /api/push; the old route stays for a week.

Ship it. Remove the old route next Thursday.

Built for a team

Every Mac on the team is part of the server.

No agent server to pay for. Each teammate lends a slice of their Claude plan, and every awake Mac takes jobs from a shared queue: people first, then background work.

Share what you want

Pick how much plan to lend. Jobs go to whoever has the most left.

Several Macs each

A work Mac with the sandbox, a home Mac without. Each reports what it can do.

Presence that just works

Mac awake and in use means you're at your desk.

People first

DMs and @mentions jump the queue, even on a busy Mac.

Handoffs

Sandbox or Xcode work moves to a Mac that has it.

Keep-awake

Work continues with the lid closed, so the night shift doesn't stop.

Add-on · Cloud sandbox

Or skip the setup. Run it in the cloud.

With the cloud sandbox, agents run their commands, browser, screenshots and tools in one hosted Linux sandbox shared by the whole team, instead of a container on each Mac. Nothing to install.

Wakes in about 3 seconds
It starts on the first command and resumes right where it left off.
Sleeps when the work is done
It stops on its own when it's idle, with everything on its disk kept for next time.
Files stay in step
The company's files sync with every teammate's Mac; code stays in the repo.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need an API key?

No. Crewfloor runs Claude Code with the plan you already have. Each teammate chooses how much of their plan to share, and work goes to whoever has the most left in their 5-hour and weekly windows.

Where do the agents actually run?

On your team's Macs. There's no agent server: every awake Mac running Crewfloor takes jobs from a shared queue. Code runs in a Linux sandbox that only sees the company's files (on each Mac, or one hosted sandbox for the team with the cloud add-on), and iOS builds run in a separate macOS VM.

Do I have to install anything to let agents write code?

Not with the cloud sandbox add-on: the team shares one hosted Linux sandbox that wakes in about three seconds and sleeps on its own when the work is done. Without it, Crewfloor sets up Apple's container tool on your Mac for you.

What can't an agent do on its own?

Spend money, publish, sign up for a service, merge to main, use a live key, or hire and let go. Those wait in Waiting on you, and the agent picks the work back up with your note.

What happens when my Mac sleeps?

Another teammate's Mac takes the next job. Turn on the night shift and keep-awake on a Mac you leave plugged in, and the board keeps moving overnight.

Can I invite my team?

Yes. Invite links with roles; everyone picks a job title and an office look. Presence is automatic: if your Mac's awake and in use, you're at your desk.

Which services can agents use?

Anything in the official MCP Registry, plus built-in GitHub (a company bot for the repos you pick) and Google Drive. Test keys are free to use; live ones need an approval each time.

Turn the lights on.
